Let me guess, you've looked at a dozen tables by a half dozen different manufacturers. You've chosen Titan for obvious reasons, but still don't know exactly what you want or even need for that matter. Here's some advice to get you started. If you can afford it, purchase a large table because you can perform a small task with a large table but never a large task with a small table. If you're planning on picking up light weight bikes i.e. dirt bikes, 600cc - 900cc rockets or any smaller bike you can get away with a Titan 1000L Light Duty lift. This however this will be a hindrance if you ever want to lift anything heavier or wider as the 1000L does not come with the option to get side extensions. So to repeat, light duty tables are for light duty bikes.

If you're still reading then a light duty table won't cut it for your needs. Let's move up. The Titan 1000D is a fantastic table for the money and with the option to add side extensions it will allow you to lift an assortment of 3 and 4 wheeled vehicles weighing under 1000 lbs. Even if you have no intention of putting a mower, 4 wheeler or golf cart on your table, the side extensions still perform a valuable role in that they provide an additional platform for the rider to dismount the bike once on the lift. The side extensions also allow extra space for tools, rags, parts and cleaning bottles. The Titan 1000D, 1500XLT and 1500E all come with an extra long ramp for lowered bikes and an extra roller drop out panel as standard equipment.

Let's move on to the upper echelon of the Titan lifting tables, the Titan 1500XLT and 1500E-XLT. Both of these 1500 series tables come with side extensions as standard equipment and have a maximum lifting capacity of 1500 lbs. They are bigger, heavier, wider and come with more options. Both 1500 series tables have built in casters for moving the 800 lb table around your shop or garage with relative ease. These machines feature self contained roller tracks, therefore no moving parts contact the floor. The Titan 1500XLT is an air over hydraulic system, meaning you can still operate the table via the foot pump if no compressed air is available. The Titan 1500E-XLT is driven by a 110v electric motor that pushes hydraulic fluid into the cylinder for a very smooth operation of quiet raising and lowering. As previously mentioned these tables lift higher and are larger in size for accommodating machines such as side by sides or other UTV type vehicles.
